The “Citadel of Gabriele d’Annunzio” is a multimedial work developed in harmony with the “Foundation Il Vittoriale degli Italiani”.
The producton and the execution of this work joined together various objectives directed towards the scrupulous analysis of a tome difficult to read in its manifold dynamics.
Four macro sections: Visit the Vittoriale degli Italiani, the
political route, d’Annunzio and the minor arts and a Didactic
Section for the attention of schools, which analyse the Monument from
all points of view: historic, political, artistic and natural. Fifty sections
which go into detail with images, music, historical films and films recorded
inside the complex each element haracterising the Vittoriale degli italiani.
More precisely, the cd-rom is made up of: nine hundred images, eleven historical
films with the original voice of the Poet, recorded inside the Priory (the house
of the poet), sixty-five introductory audio-video movies for each section, two
hundred and fifty cose examinations, twenty music excerpts chosen from the d’Annunzian
repertory and about twenty excerpts recited by voices which illustrate the contents
of the monument.
